Every day, the Tenants' Association, its elected representatives, employees, and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have been doing this for many years, and we want to continue advocating for tenants' interests, rights, and opportunities to influence their housing in the future. Do you want to work in a values-driven organization where commitment, membership, and social issues are in focus? Are you passionate about structure, analysis, and making people feel safe and seen? Then you might be the one we are looking for!
We are now looking for a management coordinator for Membership Development South who wants to play a central role in strengthening the member journey, recruitment, and engagement development in our five regions: Southern Skåne, Northern Skåne, Western Sweden, Bohus-Älvsborg-Skaraborg, and Southeast.
About the role
As a management coordinator with us, you will provide administrative, analytical, and organizational support to the management of Membership Development South. The role suits you who want to work both strategically and operationally – you will keep track of meeting structures, processes, and decisions while working closely with the operations on statistics, follow-up, and relationship building.
You will be an important link between the management team and the operations. Therefore, you need to enjoy collaborating, building good relationships, and being able to meet people in a way that makes everyone feel included.
Membership Development South is a collaboration between five regions in Southern Sweden. This means that we operate from Norrköping in the north to Malmö in the south. We prefer that the management coordinator is stationed in the middle of the region and that you have the opportunity to travel within our regions.
Your main tasks
- Provide administrative and operational support to the unit manager and management within Membership Development South
- Coordinate planning, follow-up, and reporting of goals, activities, and key figures related to the recruitment of new members
- Prepare, document, and follow up on decisions in management groups and projects.
- Plan meetings and be responsible for invitations, materials, and minutes.
- Conduct, follow up, and analyze statistics, both on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Conduct register maintenance – cleaning and quality assurance of address registers.
- Prepare presentation and decision materials for the management group and steering group
- Ensure that document management, processes, and routines follow national guidelines.
- Participate in the development of working methods, digital tools, and internal communication.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Relevant post-secondary education, for example in administration, communication, social sciences, or economics, or equivalent experience.
- Experience in qualified administrative support, preferably from a non-profit or member-driven organization.
- Very good ability to plan, structure, and follow up on complex processes.
- Strong IT skills, especially in Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), as well as experience with membership systems/CRM.
- Good analytical skills and experience in statistics, reporting, and operational follow-up.
- Good communication skills in both spoken and written forms.
- Experience in register maintenance or data quality work is an advantage.
Personal qualities
To succeed and thrive in this role, we believe you are:
- A relationship builder who easily meets different types of people and adapts communication to the context.
- Structured, meticulous, and confident in prioritizing when many things are happening simultaneously.
- Independent, proactive, and solution-oriented.
- Interested in membership issues, engagement, and social development.
- Someone who contributes to a good work environment and fits into a group where we both laugh and take responsibility.
What we offer
With us, you will be part of an organization with strong commitment and significant social benefit. You will work closely with the core of the operations and help develop how we meet, engage, and retain our members. We offer a workplace where you have the opportunity to influence, develop, and make a difference every day.

Working with us
We offer:
- An interesting job in an engaged organization.
- A varied and responsible job.
- Good employment conditions and benefits.
Diversity and a humanistic perspective are important values in our organization and a given for all of us who work here. With us, you will meet engaged and friendly colleagues and come to a workplace with good development opportunities and good employment conditions. We have, for example, collective agreements, wellness grants, flexible working hours, and the possibility to work partly remotely. With us, every employee is important to the tenants every day. A few times a year, we create extra energy and engagement by working together on the same task, regardless of our everyday roles. Then we meet or call the tenants and talk about, for example, safety in the neighborhood. You can read more on our website.
The Tenants' Association is a modern and strong popular movement with over half a million members, 9,000 elected representatives, and 850 employees across Sweden. We address housing issues in both large and small ways - from extensive legislative changes to the small playground in the yard that needs to be renovated. We work for a society where everyone has the right to live, can afford to live, and has influence over their housing. In this way, we participate in social development, drive change, and take responsibility for it. With us, you will have the opportunity to make an impact!
